THE QUICK VERSION
  1. Create a temporary inbox before requesting the verification email.
  2. Paste the exact address into the form that accepts it.
  3. Wait for the message and confirm the sender and subject.
  4. Open the newest relevant email and copy the code or follow the intended link.

Use the newest valid message

Verification systems may invalidate an older code when you request a new one. Read the received time and subject before copying a number. If several messages arrive together, start with the most recent one that matches the request.

GetaTempMail highlights a detected sequence of four to eight digits in message text. This is a convenience, not a guarantee that the number is an authentication code. Compare it with the surrounding instructions; dates and other numbers can look similar.

Understand acceptance and delivery limits

Some websites reject disposable email domains. GetaTempMail cannot guarantee acceptance by a particular service or make a sender deliver a message. Follow that service’s requirements and use a permanent address if necessary.

Keep this tab visible for automatic checks. If the email is delayed, verify the address and avoid repeated resend requests. A Maildrop address may experience additional delay from first-time sender greylisting.

Do not use this for an account you need to keep

A public temporary inbox should not receive personal password-reset emails or protect an important account. Someone who knows the address may be able to access the upstream mailbox, and your access will end when the session expires.

For accounts you will continue using, choose a private address with recovery options. Disposable mail is best reserved for temporary test accounts you own and tasks where losing future access is acceptable.

A few common questions

Can I receive SMS codes here?+

No. GetaTempMail receives email only. It does not provide a phone number or receive SMS.

Why is there no Copy code button?+

The button appears only when the text includes a detectable four-to-eight-digit sequence. You can still copy a different code manually from the message.
