Both sources hand you a generated address
Guerrilla Mail is the default source in GetaTempMail and returns a generated address through its public API. TempMailC also generates the address for you, drawing on a domain pool that the provider manages. In both cases, copy the complete address shown in your current inbox rather than retyping or guessing a domain.
Both are public inbox sources. Anyone who knows an address may be able to read its mail at the provider, so use either one only for low-stakes messages such as a one-time download or a manual signup test. A private, lasting mailbox is the better destination for accounts you will need again.
Retention is documented differently
Guerrilla Mail keeps messages for about an hour. TempMailC controls its own retention, and GetaTempMail does not promise a specific window for it. Neither provider rule changes your GetaTempMail session, which lasts one hour and cannot be restored after it ends.
Because the TempMailC domain pool can change, the domain you receive today is not a commitment about future addresses. If a website rejects the domain, generating another name on the same domain may not help. The receiving site decides which email domains it accepts.
What stays the same in GetaTempMail
Both sources support reading full messages and requesting individual deletion at the source. GetaTempMail applies the same sanitized preview, keeps remote images out of the reading view, and refreshes the inbox while the page is visible. Deleting at the source does not remove a copy held by the sender.
Switching between Guerrilla Mail and TempMailC creates a new address and replaces the current local session. Messages do not move between providers. Save any code or link you need before you change sources, and we have not benchmarked delivery speed for either one.
