How the integration works

When you choose Guerrilla Mail, GetaTempMail requests an address from its public API and stores the provider session on the server. Incoming message summaries are normalized into the same inbox layout used for every source. Opening a message fetches its full content.

A newly generated inbox can include a real provider welcome email. That message confirms access to the mailbox; it does not test delivery from other sending services. GetaTempMail does not add simulated incoming mail.

What to expect from the session

Guerrilla Mail documents about one-hour message retention and its own session rules. GetaTempMail’s local session also lasts one hour, but these clocks are independent. Refreshing the inbox does not promise an extension of either one.

Use New address to start again. Your previous local mailbox is disconnected, while upstream messages remain subject to the provider’s rules. The message Delete action requests deletion at the provider before removing the local cache entry.

A source, not a privacy guarantee

Guerrilla Mail is a disposable public-mail service. Keep sensitive messages and lasting accounts in a private inbox. Its API receives the visitor IP and browser user agent as part of the integration.

GetaTempMail is independent of Guerrilla Mail. We offer a separate reading interface with provider attribution, and availability or accepted domains can change at the source.
