Receiving is the supported workflow

You can create an address, receive incoming messages, and read them in GetaTempMail. There is no compose screen, outgoing mail server configuration, forwarding rule, or Reply button. Choosing a different source does not add sending support to this interface.

Some external providers may offer other products or features on their own websites. Those features should not be assumed to exist in GetaTempMail. Check the workflow available here before giving someone an address that they expect you to reply from.

Watch for instructions that require a reply

A form may deliver a message successfully but ask you to reply to confirm a request, attach a document, or continue a support conversation. A receive-only inbox cannot finish that exchange. Use a regular mailbox before starting if a human response is likely.

Clicking a confirmation link is different from sending an email reply. A link can complete a low-stakes opt-in in your browser, while a reply needs an outgoing email account. Read the message’s instructions rather than treating these actions as interchangeable.

Choose a mailbox around the whole conversation

For a continuing discussion, pick a lasting address you control. If your aim is to avoid sharing your primary address, investigate an alias service with explicit reply support and understand how it handles outgoing messages. Not every forwarding alias supports replies.

For an authorized manual test, a receive-only inbox can still help inspect one-way notifications. Test outbound replies separately in the application or email environment you own, using credentials and delivery logs under your control.

A few common questions

Can I reply by choosing another GetaTempMail provider?+

No. The GetaTempMail interface remains receive-only for every integrated source.

Can I forward mail to my personal address?+

No automatic forwarding is provided. Use a maintained forwarding alias if that is your goal.
