This inbox is not an attachment archive
GetaTempMail focuses on reading normalized message text and sanitized HTML. It does not provide a general attachment browser or a dependable archive of original email files. A source may receive an attachment without this interface exposing a download control for it.
If the purpose of the email is an important attached document, use a regular mailbox. Do not assume that a successful subject line or message preview means every MIME part is available through this app.
A link inside an email is a different mechanism
A download link opens a resource hosted by the sender or another website. It is not the same as a file attached to the email. For a one-time resource, inspect the destination, open it while the link is valid, and save the file somewhere you control.
Links have their own access and expiry rules. Keeping the email open does not keep a link alive, and bookmarking the temporary inbox does not preserve the resource. A signed link may also be single-use or tied to the sender’s application session.
Missing images do not necessarily mean a broken message
The message preview removes remote images and disallowed markup. A logo, tracking pixel, or image-only button may therefore be absent. Look for a plain-text link in the message and verify its destination before opening it.
If the useful content exists only in an attachment or an unsupported image, request a text alternative or use a mailbox that supports the file. The sanitized view is intended for reading short messages, not checking the full visual design of an email.
A few common questions
Can I download every attachment received by the provider?+
No. GetaTempMail does not expose a general attachment-download feature.
Does deleting the email remove a downloaded file?+
No. A file you saved on your device is separate from the email and must be managed there.
