A good fit for a one-time resource
A temporary address can be useful when a site emails a link to a checklist, sample file, or other single-use resource. GetaTempMail receives the message so you can collect the item without giving that form your personal address.
Before submitting, check whether the resource also creates a lasting account. A purchase receipt, license key, course enrollment, or ongoing subscription belongs in an inbox you can recover. A temporary mailbox is not a reliable place to keep ownership records.
Save the resource, not just the email
A download link may expire independently of your mailbox. Open it while the message is available and save the resulting file. Bookmarking an inbox message does not preserve it: your GetaTempMail session ends after one hour, and the provider can remove mail on its own schedule.
Treat links and attachments from unfamiliar senders cautiously. An email arriving in a temporary inbox does not establish that the linked file is trustworthy. GetaTempMail is receive-only and does not provide an attachment archive.
If the form rejects the address
Some websites do not accept disposable email domains. Use a permanent address or a forwarding alias if the resource requires one. Switching providers may change the domain, but no provider can guarantee that a particular website will accept it.
