What you can skip

GetaTempMail does not ask you to register a user account or provide a personal destination address before receiving mail. Open the inbox, create an address, and copy it into a form that accepts disposable email. You read the resulting messages here rather than forwarding them to your normal inbox.

No signup is useful for a brief task, but it also means there is no account dashboard from which to restore your old addresses. Decide whether you will need a later message before using the address for registration elsewhere.

What keeps the session connected

The browser receives a random session cookie. The server uses it to reconnect the browser to the generated address and source credentials. Reloading the same browser can restore an active session, while clearing cookies or switching browsers can leave you without access to it.

The cookie is not an email account password and cannot extend the session. Keep the original browser open while waiting for a message. A bookmark of the homepage does not identify your old mailbox after the session ends.

When registration is the better tradeoff

If losing the next email would prevent you from accessing a purchase, membership, or important account, use a recoverable mailbox. A lasting address requires more setup but gives you a way to manage access beyond this short session.

For a one-time sample or authorized manual test, collect the result before leaving. Do not interpret the absence of signup as anonymity: the website and email source still process connection information.
