Temporary Email on Mobile: Copy, Switch Tabs & Receive

Keep the inbox in its original browser

Create your temporary address in a browser tab and copy it before opening the form that needs it. Mobile apps sometimes open links in their own embedded browser. That embedded browser may not share the session cookie with the browser where you created the inbox.

Return to the original tab to read incoming mail. If another tab offers to create a fresh address, first check whether you are in the same browser context. A new address is a new destination, not a way to retrieve the previous inbox.

Background tabs do not refresh continuously

GetaTempMail checks for new mail every fifteen seconds while its tab is visible. A mobile operating system can suspend a background tab, so do not use background activity as evidence that no mail has arrived. Return to the page and use Refresh inbox if needed.

Clipboard permissions also vary between browsers. If the copy button fails, select the visible address and use the system copy action. Compare the pasted domain and mailbox name before submitting the form; accidental spaces or partial selections can cause delivery mistakes.

Finish before changing contexts

Read the confirmation or code in the same session and complete your low-stakes task before closing the browser. Creating a new address, clearing browser data, or letting the session expire can end access to the current mailbox.

A phone and a laptop do not automatically share a GetaTempMail inbox. There is no account-based synchronization. Use a permanent mailbox when you need to move reliably between devices or recover the information later.
