An implemented adapter is not a live availability promise
The Mail.gw adapter is implemented, but this source is paused by default in GetaTempMail after repeated HTTP 502 responses during development-host checks on September 15, 2026. That observation describes those checks; it is not a claim that Mail.gw is unavailable everywhere.
This page documents the integration rather than offering a working Mail.gw inbox while it is disabled. Check the source options in New address for the current configuration. An enabled option still depends on the provider responding successfully when an address is created.
How the integration differs from an address-only inbox
The adapter is built around an account-and-token API flow. It creates source credentials, obtains a token, and uses that token to retrieve messages. Those credentials remain server-side in GetaTempMail. The implementation also includes individual-message deletion, which still needs successful live verification for this source.
While it is paused, use another available source for a new, low-stakes address. Changing sources does not migrate mail or recover a failed mailbox. The receiving website may accept one disposable domain and reject another; no integration here guarantees acceptance by every sender.

Does choosing this source extend my GetaTempMail session?+
No. GetaTempMail sessions last one hour. Provider retention and availability are separate from access through this interface.
