The domain belongs to the email source

neighbours.sh exposes a public receiving API and a list of available domains. GetaTempMail uses that source to generate a disposable address. The domain in the address may differ from the provider’s website name; it is still the full displayed address that the sender must use.

A public mailbox should be treated as visible to others who know its address. A random name reduces accidental collisions with other users, but it is not a substitute for authenticated access to a private email account. Use synthetic information for testing.

Read and remove messages during the session

This source documents forty-eight-hour upstream retention. Your GetaTempMail session remains one hour, and changing source ends access to the previous inbox here. There is no address-history feature that extends that access.

The integration supports requesting individual deletion at the source. Read the subject and sender before opening an external link, and save any non-sensitive result you need before deleting. GetaTempMail sanitizes the preview but cannot verify that a linked website is trustworthy.

A few common questions

Why is my email domain different from neighbours.sh?+

The provider manages multiple receiving domains. Send to the full address displayed in the inbox, not to an address assembled from the provider’s website name.

Does choosing this source extend my GetaTempMail session?+

No. GetaTempMail sessions last one hour. Provider retention and availability are separate from access through this interface.
