Creating a mailbox starts a separate source session
TempMail.lol creates an inbox with a token that the integration uses to retrieve mail. GetaTempMail keeps the token out of the browser’s public page data and presents incoming messages in the shared reading view. The address is the only value you need to give the sender.
The source applies creation quotas. If creating an address is temporarily unavailable, repeated retries are not a useful way to resolve the limit. Wait before retrying or select another available source for a different address, then update the sender accordingly.
Short lifetime and local hiding
The free inbox lifetime is approximately one hour, and the source may end access according to its own rules. GetaTempMail also has a one-hour session. These clocks are independent, so the displayed app timer cannot guarantee that the upstream inbox remains available until its final second.
The integrated API provides no individual-message deletion action. Hide message removes a message from your local session view. It does not remove upstream copies. Save the result of a low-stakes task before leaving; this interface does not offer recovery of expired source tokens.
A few common questions
Why do I see Hide message rather than Delete?+
This integration cannot delete individual messages at TempMail.lol. Hiding keeps the item out of your current session while the source handles its own expiry.
Does choosing this source extend my GetaTempMail session?+
No. GetaTempMail sessions last one hour. Provider retention and availability are separate from access through this interface.
